Hi, I'm Julie. I'm really glad you're here.
I'm a civil celebrant based near Wallan, Victoria, and I genuinely love what I do. Whether I'm helping a couple plan the wedding ceremony of their dreams or walking a family through a gentle, meaningful farewell, my approach is always the same: warm, relaxed, and deeply personal.
I believe the best ceremonies aren't the ones that follow a script — they're the ones that sound like you. Your story, your values, your people. I take care of the legal details and the practical stuff so you can focus on what matters most.
When we work together, there's no pressure, no rushing, and no corporate feel. Just a conversation, a cup of tea, and a ceremony that feels right.

Your wedding ceremony should feel like the two of you — not a generic template. I'll help you create something personal, warm, and easy. From the first chat to the final "I do", I'll make the process simple, calm and stress-free.

We start with a relaxed phone call so you can get a feel for how I work and ask anything on your mind.
Meet & Plan
A face-to-face meeting of around 90 minutes. I can come to you, or you're welcome to visit me.
The Legal Bits
I'll guide you through the Notice of Intended Marriage and all required documentation, step by step.
Your Ceremony
Together we create a personal ceremony. You'll receive it two weeks before the wedding to review.
Your Day
I'll be there to guide you calmly through the ceremony. Rehearsals can be arranged if you'd like.
A note on payment: Final payment is due one week before the wedding. Rehearsals can be arranged if required, and I'm always available for questions along the way.
A warm, respectful farewell
Saying goodbye to someone you love is one of life's hardest moments. My role is to make the ceremony feel as gentle and meaningful as possible — listening to your stories, memories, and the personality of the person being honoured.
Together, we'll create a service that genuinely reflects their life. Not sombre or clinical, but warm, compassionate, and real. A space where family and friends can gather, remember, and begin to heal.
